Kingfish made something like that, I believe. Also Unevenelefant did that, with the Rods of God on his custom map.

I believe that that's the name of a concept for a United States space-based weapon.

Oh, btw the way I did my projectiles is by setting the FP offset in the weapon tag to like 30 on the Z axis. Then I gave the projectile a gravity of like 15. Edited by UnevenElefant5 on Mar 23, 2009 at 07:20 PMwait, did you mean MY name or the Rods of God? Edited by UnevenElefant5 on Mar 23, 2009 at 07:22 PM

Ah, ok. I didn't make the name, blame the USA :P Oh, and for your problem: Like I said, my way won't make it fall in a specific place, but there might be a way to script it so that every time you fire, it creates an effect at a specific flag in the sky. this effect spawns a projectile with lots of gravity so it falls straight down. K, when modelling your weapon, place all the nodes normally, but place the #primary trigger node far out, away from the gun. Then compile normally. Now, in the weapon tag, go kind of down to the bottom. There will be a place called first person offset. Change the Z axis to like 2-5 (I used 2 on the Rods of God). Then open your projectile tag and change the air gravity scale to like 30(I used 50 on the Rods of God). This makes it fall from the sky. To make it fall in a specific place, Since I don't know what the command to check if the player is firing is, I would imagine it would look something like this: (script continuous {name}) (unit_get_current_flashlight_state {unit}) (effect_new {effect}) ) correct me if I am wrong, but I think that would make it spawn the projectile when you press flashlight.
