An idea for a Single Player Map... for Sidewinder.
-Influenced by the Custom Map: Covenant Last Stand-
On planet reach, the covenant has almost annihilated humanity on reach. In there last effort, they begin preparation to launch Master Chief on the pillar of autumn. However, before they could, the Facility is heavily attacked. You as Sgt. Jonson are responsible for defending the base until the package had boarded the pillar of autumn.
________________________________________________________________________
Start Game:
An introduction using flycam, hovers just above the base, goes in and you see Captain Keyes, Sgt. Jonson, Master Chief [deep frozen], and a few Marines. There the white screen comes and you are Sgt. Jonson.
“Echo 419, we got the captain and are ready for evac,” says Cortana
“Negative, I’m being attacked by covenant air patrols and having a tough time shaking them” says Echo 419.
“Understood”, says Cortana.
“Captain, our transport has been cut off. We need to wait here until she can arrive,” says Cortana.
“That’s it were SCREWED, WERE SCREWED MAN,” says a Marine.
“Stop your belly ackeing; remember you’re a leather neck. Cortana, if you can get me into one of those covenant ships, I can get ourselves out of here,” says Captain Keyes.
“There is a covenant ship still docked,” says Cortana.
Screen: -Go meet with the rest of the survivors for Assault- = [Nav Point]
You meet a very few units that is wide open. In addition, covenant drop ships sitting in wait on a two level building. However, as you near, you are attacked by waves of Covenant. Eventually you and what little men you have are taken out. Wounded, you are forced back. The covenant gets stronger and stronger as the base is assaulted. And by all means… if Captain Keyes dies, it is the end and you will have to go back to the final defense or just plain start over.
When the waves of the covenant ends, the screen goes, white and flycam’s a Pelican dropping in at the high level of your base. (You don’t see it) but after master chief is carried in the pelican, (you see) Captain Keyes and Sgt. Jonson getting in a pelican seat. As it flys away, it flycam’s inside the base looking out with elites running to the departing pelican.

Blue Dots = Allies but NO spawn
Green Dots = Your Spawn Points
Brown Dots = Torrents’ or heavy guns
Yellow Lines = Enemy Path to Destruction
Brown Lines = Walls
Blue Lines = Allies Defense Walls
Light Blue Circles = Areas of Checkpoints/defense positions - as you get drawn back!
______________________________________________________________________________
Area #1: -Cornered-
You are at the allies base when you start. On your way out, there’s every human weapon there is accessible to you on a weapon cart. [Same everywhere else]
The [Nav Point] leads you to the Green Dot far out where you can see a [M] like thing on a black box. That will be the two floor building with the drop ship on top of it! But also 2 doors that are locked and unlock sending Huge Waves of Covenant at you. here, you will have the basic gun the units use all the time. And a tiny help from a torrent and 2 Snipers
Area #2: -Not Welcome-
After your units are down for the count, the covenant spawn point will move near the entrance. Where your mission is to keep them from coming in. the Green Dot in the next circle is your next spawn point with a heavy load of ammo available for you to use. There is more units this time but only with the basic guns they use STILL.
Area #3: -Oh, so that’s the way it is-
Maybe not RIGHT then, but you’re meant to Fail AGAIN to hold back the enemy lines. In this area, you have access to a warthog gun torrent. And a few snipers cover you from higher elevations. The New enemy spawn point is now located near where you spawned before.
And your spawn point is high on the cliff
Area #4: -Home Field Advantage-
Heavy but wide open, there will be quite a few human torrents, snipers, and rocket holders. But success is NOT guaranteed. The new covenant spawn point then becomes the area you spawned last. Where the other high cliff becomes your spawning point.
Aream#5: -The Last Stand-
Heavy Guarded with torrents and snipers, your job is to snipe the incoming wave or be on the ground and dealing with them face to face. Ether way, you will spawn in the base and the enemy will spawn in the middle of the last defense area. [Don’t let Captain Keyes get Killed]

Wave #6 - Who’s hunting who -
The Sixth Wave contains 50 hunters with twice the HP
Wave #7 - Grand Rally -
50 Units Spawning EACH in a rapid push.
Witch means 50
Grunts
Jackals
Elites -each color-
Hunters
[with the same Abilities]
(right when they leave the last spawn’er steps off the Spawning spot.
Others:
when a wave of covenant comes to an end. You hear Sgt. Jonson say “don’t let it get to your head Marines”, “you almost look like solders right then”, and “don’t worry, there will be more”
And if possible, I’d like to add a next wave - Wave #8 - The Package -
Afterwards, send 10 gold SWORD elites that Cant be killed and your goal is to run up in your base and sit inside the pelican. [or drive it for a distance]
Have like a huge pillar of autumn floating in the air and a BONUS, have the ship take off and shows the clip on halo 2 of pillar of autumns escape.
-Hope this is an idea good enough to make and even POSIBLE to make-
