I'm finally able to open single player maps in sapien now thanks to the great support from Halo CE forum users. I started working on a mod of b30 and I'm having a few problems. I'll list all of them here to avoid spamming: -The pelican animations start in the wrong place and end up looking really messed up as one of them runs into the water and you get dropped off in the wrong place on the beach. -I can't get the escape menu to come up period. -When I get to the second BSP it loads up fine and I get the checkpoint, but once I get to the point where you find the elite standing next to that box I look around the corner to where he is but before i can *bam* exception error. I know this is confusing so if you don't understand i'll put up a screenshot. If you know a solution to any of these problems please post help is really appreciated. Download Zteam's scripts off the website. Compile them, and it should work better, if not fine.

Well the downloaded tags fixed the loading problem. Thanks very much as that was my biggest problem. The rest though still persist. I haven't done anything with scripts so can you direct me to a tutorial or just tell me how to get them to work in my map.

You download these: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3424, find the scenario you want. Since you're doing b30, copy b30.hsc, put it in the folder Halo Custom Edition\data\levels\b30\scripts (you need to create this folder). Open the scenario in Sapien, and hit CTRL + SHIFT + C. NOTE: This works only if your scenario is in the folder tags\levels\b30. If it's in another folder, put it in the corresponding folder in the data folder. For example, if it's in the folder tags\levels\b30mod, then put b30.hsc in the folder data\levels\b30mod\scripts (creating the folder). Then, open your scenario in Sapien, and compile scripts by hitting CTRL + SHIFT + C. Edited by Gamma927 on Mar 16, 2009 at 11:25 PM

Ok the scripts compiled inside side sapien so i recompiled the map. Same thing. Also i'm using downloaded tags now so it shouldn't be the pelicans themselves that are the problem.
