I edited a maps .secnario file, but I don't know how to save it so the scenario is now a .map file, and I can play on it. What do I do?

I changed the map so there is some AI on it, and saved it. It all saved fine, but when I played on the map in Halo CE, it was the same.

How do I export it as a .map?
I don't think it saved the scenario for the map or whatever. I just don't know. The map is the same as the original one, not with my AI, how to I get the map to be the same as my scenario?

Okay, when you complete it save it.
Open command prompt but make sure you copy it and paste it into your halo custom edition directory.
Now, it should say something like this
C:/Program Files/Halo custom edition>
then when you see this type "/test//.scenario
If that doesn't work, then before /test, put tags.
You MUST put the "'s in. (I think)
Hopefully, if theres no errors it should compile correctly.
I think thats how it's done, but i haven't done anything with HEK for a long time.

Well. It says.

The system cannot find the message text for message number 0x3 in the message file for system.

Whatever that means.

ok. Easier method
download this: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=578
now open it and select "build-cache-file" from the list on the right. then on the top left, click the 3 dots and locate your scenario file. Then press "run tool". Open halo, it should be there now

It's not in alphabetical order. You have to scroll to the very bottom.

Well, if you look at it that way, then I suppose it could be alphabetical...

When selecting the map that you want to play, scroll all the way down to the bottom. All custom maps are placed on the bottom, due to some unknown prejudice.
