weld all verts by 0.1 and you need to convert to tris.

What's a coplaner? Also, converted to triangles, and then to editable mesh. Still errors, welded all vertex's. Ran a stl check, did a border check. Still problems. This is becoming to be a joke.

Newbkilla, you will not fix overlapping faces by welding. 1st open the model, import the wrl and view in wireframe , you should see a orange part somewhere (it may be big or very small so look hard) when you find it/them you should see that where it is indicating there are overlapping faces, when you select one of these faces you should notice that the face is not all nice like they should be, and it seems to be showing as kinda jagged.( this is not always the case) You sahould just delete that overlapping face and create a new one that does not overlap the surrounding faces. Im sure you have me on xfire if you need more help.

Quote: How to fix Coplanars
First go Editable poly, then pick the two vertecies that causes the coplanar, then simply press the button "Make planar".OBS! this can move other faces around but that rarely happens..This is a fast way to do it whitout messing up your model.

Fix the coplanars before you try to find the overlapping ones.I suggest..You take some time..Cause i see a bunch of screwed up coplanars there.

ok, i recommend rerunning tool, and when it says overlapping surfaces, before it starts to say coplaner surfaces, close tool (trust me, this works). Then only overlapping surfaces will be in there and you can use the select by name tool to find it. Edited by Koo294 on Mar 10, 2009 at 03:46 AM
