Hey, I've got my custom weapons all set up, and I want to put in sounds for when the weapon does the posing, reloading animations etc. I made my sound file, converted it, then referenced it in the animation tag. The sound file is a weapon_reload type also. It doesn't play in game.
WHY?

compare it's settings to an original sound tag.

the default sounds are compressed as xbox acdpm or something. When I choose that as the compression in guerilla my sound doesn't play.

From what I've read, you need a couple downloads, an xbox codec, and Polar's dll fix, ogg-vorbis dlls which replace the original ogg dlls in the CE folder. But you probably already know that.

After changing the setting to xbox, did you run tool again? I imagine, like making a non-color key transparency bitmap, you gotta run tool again after changing the type

Since I haven't done sound permutaions yet myself, thats all I know, if even that :p

Well I used TLS Udie's sound converter because doing it regularly won't work for me.
EDIT: fixed it
