Fair point MF Boom , i do realise that pings fluctuate , and that im not the best CE player on the planet , but some aimbots DO work , and when they do , they become total A$$@#*es. If we ever were to stop botters , our best bet is to root out the scripters that make the programs , not the program itself , it's like trying to put out a fire caused by oil with water.

I wasn't saying you weren't a good player. I'm just saying, all aimbots are actually the same. The only mass-spread aimbot is Bitterbanana's, and while it's accurate for an aimbot, it's still misleading on how accurate it really is. You have to lead so much with Halo CE that it's ridiculous... The aimbot seems to be more accurate on Halo PC, than on CE. I personally don't play competitive matches in CE very much, but there are aimbotters that join every once in a while, because you can occasionally watch them spin around and flail because their target just got in a warthog (lololaimbotterjustgotpwned).

But yes, when aimbotters do work, it is annoying. Hell, it's annoying to play someone better than you who you stand no chance against. I've done it. I forget the name of the guy, or whatever he uses on CE, but either last year or the year before, I played against whoever was considered /the/ #1 player on Halo CE. I stood no fckin' chance against him. It actually pissed me off, too, because every time I saw him, I was pretty much looking from a dead-biped view. I used to have anger problems. 8D

And, again, true. The only way to really do any "anti-aimbot" anything, is to talk to Bitterbanana and the other scripters, and find out if there's a specific code to disable them. ... Oh wait, there isn't. Someone already asked them. Because it's running client-side, you'd have to send some special type of ping to their computer that contains the code to disable them, and that wouldn't work. Even with an open port, that could be considered malicious intent, and technically speaking, isn't legal -- and again, it probably still wouldn't work. The only thing you could do is find a proven working program that detects the string embedded in someone's game when they press shift, that it autodetects it, and kicks them from the server. You have to be host to do it obviously, and there isn't one that's proven to work. It's nice in theory, but yet to exist.

Right now, unfortunately, all we can do is ignore them, and learn to play better than them. I'm not trying to sound harsh or call anyone a bad player, but that's literally just it. It's not impossible to play better than an aimbotter. If you're in a major clan, you should be better than one. If not? Practice makes perfect, quite literally.


And, I do have XFire, but I rarely ever use it. Aside from that, I'm gonna be gone all week. I had plans to finish up my map and make a tutorial video for HEK, including some moderate modeling, weapon modifications, populating it in Sapien; a full tutorial video. Unfortunately, gotta put it on hold until next week.

You can add me in the meantime though; My XFire is mfboom. As for a scrim, I'unno. I'm not trying to sound like a coward or back out of a challenge, but as I said earlier, I very rarely play competitively. I can play better than aimbotters, but, it has been well over a year since I've really played for competition. Hell, I've only been working with Halo again since February; I was gone for over a year from these forums, pretty much. Right now I'm mostly caught up on the developmental aspect of Halo, than the competitive. Don't mean to disappoint you or anything~

LOL! How about SketchUp? XD Max is definitely the better choice of the two, despite my previous rants on how SU is great...
SU= Like Chrome, simpler to use and easy-to-understand UI.
MAX= Like IE, ridiculously full of all those complicated options and usually the standard choice.

i am tired of being called a botter when i sniped sum1 when i am just a seriously pro(pretty much)(and no i am not bragging or lying) sniper. this one time this guy kept saying i was a botter, he then went ark but stayed in the server, he downloaded an aimbot and used it on me and then they switched teams and betrayed me. so i banned them. i hate botters so much! i think they are a waste of cheating instead of getting skill. if there is an antiaimbot thing give me a link and instructions on how to use it, work it, etc. if there isn't an antiaimbot, then give me a link when there is a utility for halo ce. i didn't even know halo ce had bots. i googled the internet to find em so i could know which ones there were so i could look out for the people using them i found nothin but a fake. oh and if u ever find or make a yelo battery for halo ce v1.08 send me a link. i like makin weapon positions. i good at it. (dam that was a mouthful i typed) oh and whos been called a botter when u aren't really?

aside from that, if the clan were created, it would be like fighting fire with fire, because what people hate is not aimbots, it's getting owned. And i assure you, a clan like that wouldn't stick, to simply joining servers with bots. they would join happy-noob games, which would obviously pose them as "bots".

rather than creating an anti-aimbot clan, just piss the aimboters off.

I found a little problem...

i have an idea, its the exception hammer, and its not named arfter my name...

There was a map that i played 1s and instead of "being killed by a vehicle" when theres no driver, you would exception. it was some error. if you could find out how, put whatever it was that was causing it into a hammer, hide the hammer in a place that only the host can tele to. like you have to use cam and cheat teleport to camera to get there. then hit someone with the hammer and they get exception.

what a geinous idea.. altho you could just type sv_ban.

Since it's pretty much proven that Aimbots cant be stopped , we all need to stop bumping this thread , it's redundant. (Im bumping it with this post =P) Oh , and thanks MF Boom. Best way to stop an aimbotter is :

The Dummie's guide to stopping aimbotters.
Step 1 : Use sightjack on suspected botter.
Step 2 : Ban the aimbotter or ask someone to (If you dont have admin rights).
Step 3 : Rejoice untill another aimbotter comes.
Step 4 : Repeat step 1.

Unless the admin himself is botting...

then you just leave the game :P

Hi you obviously know nothing about playing this game pro'ishhly.

1) You do not do sniper matches.

2) You do not host the server, you use a dedicated one.

I'll add you and 1v1 you but we do it properly.

your hacked name, and the name "ARK Lonely" itself, shows your experience, and videogame logic as well.
your ongoing brag also gives away your experience.
and your really hard... "work", is far from effective.

but anyways... i suggest you keep away from picking a fight on the forum, because i've seen some of these guys play, and they're decent enough to own your level of gameplay.

There isn't really a problem with aimbotthing, so why all this fuss? I don't use bots or hacks but I like to test them so I know how they work and how to spot an aimbot. This game is old and some early buyers have developed a perfect aim. Also SilentK released an aimbot for Halo CE which can adjust the lead to your ping and featured vehicle snapping and other little features. There are hardly any bots playing and if you think you found one just because the have an accurate shot don't ban them. Take the time to sight jack them first and that you know what aimbotting looks like (if you don't have one there's tones of demonstrational videos on youtube).

AimbotTopic: Personally, I think aimbots in general are for noobs, I used to use low-level hacks in another game (simple stuff: Chams, No Spread/Recoil, Nametags) and people said I had no skill. It takes skill to kill, all that was lacking was the finding of those kills.
Aimbots-In-CE: Total fail. All I do is teabag>strafe>shoot>repeat. Easy kill.

wait so, you played a map with ai bots, which are local to your computer, to train with a sniper rifle, and you think you are pro? i dont follow that logic.

Chams, No Spread, and Nametag hacks all require significantly less skill to use than playing legitimately. No recoil or spread makes any game incredibly easy, even halo Ex: the AR with no spread kills in about a 4th of the time it normally takes.

Finding the kills in any game is half of the skill. so, essentially, when you use a cham or other similar hack you are gaining about half the skill of a seasoned legitimate player therefore making you a noob.

All hacks fail just as much as an aimbot, and I'm surprised you can talk openly about hacking and some how think you are above all the other people who use aimbots.

I'm so fkin Pro kids.

I see your point, but I do say that hacks in general are fail, however when you compare chams to aimbot, it takes more skill to use chams.

To say I am better than aimbotters is only half correct, I aim for myself, and still have a good Kill/Death Ratio, but aimbotters are just that: Having a program aim for them.

Besides, I've stopped hacking that game, it's turned to shiz nowadays.

If you're surprised that I even mentioned using hacks myself, then you can be surprised at pretty much half the internet (Maybe more).

well basicly gephy when i still was playin halo pc but uhh sniper training was not much of help, from gephy i started using snipers more and got better and stuff now i used the gametype fix to change my sniper ffa and team sniper custom games' score limits to 255
