After i compiled my map in the editor launcher i opened it in sapien and everything looks fine but a couple of shaders i used changed into a weird shader with all the colours of the rainbow  video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w21PYtmPHskdoes somebody know what went wrong? thx Edited by DarkDragon on Feb 25, 2009 at 06:18 PM

Your shader wasn't found meaning; one you either named it wrong in Max or two you didn't create it properly (it must have a directory created for it if your making your own!)

i only used the forunner metals so i named it like this f_im name of the shader i think its correct

Learned that through experience, it's either they aren't made into shaders or they just got named differently, not entirely sure.

Yakz is right, the picture you use is only a reference, so that you can see how it should (can be) with the UVW mapping on
the thing where it is going about in the end is that name thingy so when you ahve that name thingy wrong, it gives all the colours of the rainbow.
but if you want diffirent bitmaps, just go to your Map editor Folder, tags and shaders
i dont know if this works, but maybe its possible to copy paste it in a own made folder so that you can use it like :
f_iw ocean_dynamic
but be sure you got all the shaders that need each other to function correctly
