When you are making a map do you just lay out the terrain of the map in gmax, and then add things like rocks, arches etc. in sapian or do you need to do all that in gmax in other words what all needs to be done in gmax before going to populating it in sapian? You have to make the geometry structure of your level in Gmax first. To answer your question rocks, arches etc...I'm guessing scenery, needs to be added in Sapien after your have exported your map and created a scenario file with tool.

u could populate some non moving (trees and some of the plants are animated) objects (rocks, arches, tower like structures, etc.) in gmax, but it is easier to do it in sapien.
