I know there's a way to create a barrier that vehicles can't go through, but people can. Sometimes called a "vehicle roof", as seen in H2 Coagulation (at least, I'm pretty sure that's what it was; I could drive a hog above the level, but if I jumped out, I'd fall to the ground)...

How would I go about using that vehicle roof, to create a plane that vehicles couldn't go through for the water in my map? I want the vehicles to be able to drive on water. :3

Like Hydrolysis? If I remember correctly KiDD made a tutorial on how to do that.

Thank you; that's precisely what I meant.

Now I just have to fool around with that, and with sound tags, and I'll get my first map finished enough that I'll be comfortable moving on to my actual project...

Edit:
Speaking of sound tags, I've watched {AHS}Sonic's tutorial about making the sound tags, using 3 split .wav files. He obviously screws up in the tutorial, pauses the video, reenters the command for tool /properly/, and it works...

On the other hand, I ran into this issue:

02.13.09 15:13:11 tool pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
02.13.09 15:13:11 reference function: _write_to_error_file
02.13.09 15:13:11 reference address: 42ca20
02.13.09 15:13:11 Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
02.13.09 15:13:11 MM: 'couldn't enumerate format.' (MMSYSERR_INVALPARAM#11)
02.13.09 15:13:11 MM: 'couldn't open stream.' (ACMERR_NOTPOSSIBLE#512)
02.13.09 15:13:11 MM: 'couldn't enumerate format.' (MMSYSERR_INVALPARAM#11)
02.13.09 15:13:11 MM: 'couldn't open stream.' (ACMERR_NOTPOSSIBLE#512)
02.13.09 15:13:12 MM: 'couldn't enumerate format.' (MMSYSERR_INVALPARAM#11)
02.13.09 15:13:12 MM: 'couldn't open stream.' (ACMERR_NOTPOSSIBLE#512)

Any clue what that means, and how to fix it?

I use Audacity, not Goldwave, because I've had it for a long time; but it's still saved as PCM 16-bit (stereo)... So that can't be the problem.

Edit:
Nevermind. Fixed it. Followed E3p0's tutorial instead, didn't bother splitting it to 3 different parts, just converted it to a mono track and used OGG as the exporter instead of Xbox, since obviously Xbox doesn't work.

Except it creates many many many permutations.

Yeah. This sound tutorial worked, I have the .sound and .sound_looping tags. Both of them will play in Guerilla, so I'm not at all concerned about that...

However, I can't get them to play in-game; I'm sure it has something to do with not having /any/ clusters in my map.
