Ironically, people there think we're noob. I was just trying to advertise our map, and also keep that spammer in check'.

However, I do agree that most of the people on Modacity are just mean. They can't tolerate noobs, and they claim to have 'higher standards' than us (yeah, right). By saying that, they are showing us how arrogant they are and being less mature.

HaloMaps is a mch better place, and always will be.

Strangely enough, I find myself supporting L0d3x 0_o

What he says has some truth in it. Define 'standards'. Of maturity or of mapping skill?

Let's get back on topic, can we?

Wow, you're just pouting here. You can't handle the fact that your work isn't good enough to be worthy of praise over there. I think you're the one being immature here.

Oh well, have fun living in your dreamworld.

Having skills and a higher standard of quality doesn't give them any reason to put down less skilled members, which some of the respected Modacity members do. Those who do that are just plain arrogant.

All Polamee is saying is that Halo Maps is way better for the less skilled beginners at Halo CE mapping. That I definitely think is indisputable.

Agreed.

Anyway, I came up with the (revised) work breakdown thingy.

-DarkZealot does main tagging and level skeletons/outline, and will also supervise/approve of stuff. He will also supply the custom dialogue

-Polamee, Gamma and FBI will do main scripting and all the work.

-Mythriil will supply us with custom tags and stuff.

-Sierra 117 will revise the scripts and polish off the level, and search for loopholes and such.

We may also release it to a small group of beta testers once its 80% or so completed.

Ok. Since FBI quit, there's now a spot open in the team. Any takers? Also, please show proof of mapping skill.

The AIs in halo were always suicidal. Take Halo 2 for example. In the level after Quarantine zone your allies drive you to hell :P. If you manage to get an AI drive properly, I'll give you a cookie :)

I was thinking about the level where you can chose either the ghost or the spectre and if you were the gunner of the spectre; your elite friends give you hell :P. It can also be seen on Delta Halo. Sometimes, after the ODST hijacks a ghost.... he drives it into the pit. (The bridge place)

Bad news: I lost my CE (EVERYTHING) when my hard-drive took a crap this afternoon.

Worse news: I'm stuck in safemode, as I can't proceed to "normal" mode because 45 seconds after logging on, I freeze.

Oh. I remember that. That happened to my computer. I restored it to the first restore point I had. The other restore points didn't do anything.

So you do need to make Mission Rio again? or did you somehow manage to keep the files?

I'm hoping he can extract it if it's still in his maps folder.

On the bright side, website was updated!
