I finally completed open sauce. And it output a file (d3d9.dll).
I placed that file into my CE folder,Starting Haloce.exe. It worked normally.

I want to know how to edit open sauce and change the engine(new tags,recording....etc)
because I'm a beginner of C++ programing.

Hope that someone good at C++ could help me.

you completed open source but you don't know how to script? lolwut?
what does it currently do if you don't know how to edit it?
no it's not that i'm good at C++, i just wrote a simple few kb bloom plugin in VB once, i'm curious what we eventually hope to achieve with this open source plugin (argh means i can't use my bloom alongside it D=

Well I know what it CAN do, but I don't see this happen as it needs the same plugin for the specific map on every computer, so unless Kornmann makes a general one with ALL the stuff in it to use for us, so that we can start making maps all around that DLL, it would be rather impossible to play with foreign people using the same DLL if everyone makes their own homemade version and a map that goes along with it, and switching DLL for each map doesn't sound attractive either, renaming not possble since it's looking for d3d9.dll a directx plugin so that means we're in deep trouble if it's going to be easy =P so, how about we all make one brilliant code, pm it to kornmann, and let him compile the holy grail that will make this crib a valhalla?

In a nutshell, I don't think we need to fuzz with it actually, I'll keep on using my Bloom plugin untill kornmann makes a general one for all of us so that we can make maps around that =P
Please don't flame me =P it's just my theory of how the mods will stay compatible xD
I mean, no offense for the people who actually want to get into that, but I foresee problems, that's all
