I put some sentinels in a map and checked respawn and 3D firing positions, and when I place there starting positions when they spawn there in the air moving like normal but when they spot a enemy they got to the ground and stay there and looks like they drag on the ground???
Also you always see their sheild as if there being hurt altough time??

Here's how to fix that. Select a firing position spot, go to properties pane, in the 'z' box, put in the height you want the sentinel to be at (not to high).

Cause you made it too big. Please don't set it over 50^21 (this is recommended). Set it to 3, or 4. Watch the firing position box in the game window. If it disappears, then that's not good. Usually, just increase the z by 0.6. That should be enough.

ok I'll try the 0.6 cuz It doesnt like the number 1...
Okay I tried the 0.6 and smaller it doesn't work I still get that simble that's a circle with a line through it meaning {NO} by that firing position in the mission window... I can stick them to walls off the ground but then they just travel along the walls???
Should I take off 3D firing position or something? Edited by DarkLord0912 on Feb 5, 2009 at 12:09 PM

Not funny. Ignore the no symbol, because it won't do anything. It's just a warning that the object is too high / low.

When you place the firing position move it up off the ground (manually entering a new Z location). Example: I place the firing position (witch is at 14 Z) then enter in 15 into the Z position of the firing position to bring it off the ground. Now when it shots it will go their.

It's just a warning that the object is too high / low. it means that its OUTSIDE the bsp its kinda important. find the checkbox in sapien that says something about gravity and uncheck it, then it should allow you to drag things on its axes

The move positions need to be in the air, not the firing positions. Edited by Officer egg on Feb 5, 2009 at 08:15 PM
