i have been playing halo custom for a while now in safemode, but it's really annoying having no sound, my friend told me if safemode makes it works, you can make it work outside of safemode too. can someone help?
i really dont care whats disabled as long as i can get sound. my graphics card is : VIA / S3G UniChrome Pro IGP yeah, my computer's old |

Wait i thought sound worked in safe mode too? Check if your halo has -nosound enabled. And its probably stuck at safe mode due to that old graphics card.

nup, i haven't got anything down saying -nosound .... unless there's a different way to what i'm doing.. i'm going into the shortcut's properties and putting in -safemode...

Might be a drivers problem... try to to device manager and update your sound drivers

control panel>System>Hardware tab> Device manager>Sound,video and game controller
Check for something yellow "!"s and update them. |

and i tried updating the driver after i knew where it was anyway and it didn't work |
