is the any way to script a death cam in ce that zooms in and follows the player that killed you until you respawn?

The command? It would be


camera_set_dead [unit]


How would you use this though? In a single player map, or in multiplayer? It's automatically set in multiplayer.

im not sure what you are asking, but this is the function that is used to make the camera focus on keyes if he is killed in the T&R level

Its the same one that zooms onto the player. Just replace [unit] with your definition of player.

do you mean like in COD WAW in Nazi Zombies? like when you die (not downed) the cam follows the players when your spectating...and i dont think its possible to make the 1st person view in spectators posistion...unless you edit a widget or something?

He wants the camera to follow the player that killed him.

So the camera_set_dead script would need an extension.

Also that camera system by sonic and kirby is different. Its to get a side scrolling style of gaming in halo ce, for sonic's sonic maps.

It's not possible by scripting alone. First, there's no way to test for the death of a player. Second, it's not impossible, but very difficult to find the correct (players) number for the player local to the instance of the game running the script. And third, there's no way to find out which player killed the other player so that the script can get his (players) number to zoom the camera over him.
