ok i made a map and it had no errors or anything it works fine in sapien and i compiled it to play it and it works ingame but the thing is the ground texture is doesnt show up on the ground and its all bage. shadows still show but even then thrs no texture so i dont think its radiosity and i looked at the tutorial that comes with HEK for the problem/solution thing and looked at map is bright and it said in the appropriate tag file under self-illumination set it to 0 but everything is alredy at 0 so i dont no wats wrong pls help (thnx in advance)

I dont make new shaders, i just edit existing ones. what you need to do is take like "example_tutorial_ground.shader_enviornment" and change the "base map" to your custom ground bitmap you are using. Then save it as something new. Then reference your tag in the scenario_structure_bsp file of you level.
