In a vehicle tag, there are several types. One of them is 'human boat'

Why would bungie put that? There are no boats in the game. Was it cut from the game late in development or something?

The Doozy was going to be a boat in halo 1. AFAIK, it never got past the concept stages, but they built the functionality into the game engine.

Its just how the vehicle manuevers, I would think a human boat would slope up when moving forward, like a real speed boat. Then it would be hard to stop. And when turning, you move forward and turn. And you cant turn when not moving.

Just my guess.

so if someone were to name a vehicle as "human boat" would the boat function just fine?

Boats would be a cool element to add to a SP level.

I had this Idea before. I was going to implement it into my Single Player Map, but I decided to cut it because I was told that boat are glitchy and messed up in halo CE.

Boats...

that gives me a superb map idea.
someone ought to make the map out in the seas with plenty of row boats!
(one person drives, by rowing, other sits in passenger seat)
AND A PIRATE SHIP!!!
WITH CANNONS!
AND SAILS!!!
AND A FLAG!
AND CAPTAIN MORGAN! WHO LIVES ON THE SEVEN SEAS!

and so on...

I don't think boats would work. Tiamat didn't use the boat class for his boats in islandhop, so I'm guessing he ha d good reason not too.

Doesn't work, changed a warthog to human boat and it couldn't move. Just slid down the hill.

That could easily be due to physics, and not a problem with the type itself..
