okay, so ive been trying to make custom vehicles for a long time now, and the only progress ive made is modifying existing ones, i thought the problem was the model because of this:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool build-cache-file level
s\sky_city\sky_city
No More Errors For Tools By: {TLS}Udie
the model 'vehicles\scimitar\scimitar' and the animation graph 'vehicles\banshee
\banshee' don't match
the object 'vehicles\banshee\heavy banshee_mp' will not animate
the model 'vehicles\scimitar\scimitar' and the collision model 'vehicles\banshee
\banshee_mp' don't match (node counts don't match)
the object 'vehicles\banshee\heavy banshee_mp' will not be collidable
the model 'vehicles\scimitar\scimitar' and the animation graph 'vehicles\banshee
\banshee' don't match
the object 'vehicles\banshee\scimitar' will not animate

so just to see i exported the banshee model from guerilla, opened it in max 9 then WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYTHING went straight to export it with chimp. then more errors popped up. I DID NOT TOUCH ANYTHING AT ALL

i guess it must be the exporter because it is the original banshee model but tool is still rejecting it is there a way to make max 9 able to export by file-> export and is that any different than using chimp?

it dosent work becuse you are trying to make the banshee vehicle do animations of a scimitar. it will never work. instead, keep it as normal. find another thing to edit.

list of things that will NOT work when switching:

the first 4 fields of gbx model, physics and stuff.
the weapon

no i am trying to make the scimitar do the banshee animations. and that is no longer my problem so much... right now i am wondering why the game rejects the original unmodified banshee model that i imported

it STILL wont work! its like taking a puppet and trying to make it drive like a bumper car.

okay so then why does the halo game reject the unmodified banshee model?

1. get gbx importer v2

2. get bluestreak.

k got those two things, imported with the gbxmodel importer DO NOT MODIFY ANYTHING export with bluestreak and sapien wont spawn it
