hey when i make a box map in gmax and i flip the faces i get this:

It is becuase it is set to doubel sided faces I beleive. Though I do not know how to change it. I don't use 3ds max so I am not sure.

yeah i tried deleting the faces but it deletes both sides :/ will a max user please help me?

check "back face cull" or something like that. it will make it one sided.

By the way mine does that too. Just ignore it, and hide the top bit, it still works perfectly

You'll see a checkbox for Backface Cull in the dialog box that pops up The huge list he's talking about is found in the menu Customize-> Customize User Interface |
