Posted: Nov 30, 2008 12:33 PM Msg. 1 of 20 Alright, as a lot of you know, I'm doing a community mod for the community and I would like some input on a subject: The Assault Rifle. I'm wondering how I should go about doing the AR for the mod. Here is a list of ideas I have already: -Halo3 Assault Rifle -Original Halo AR with modified skin and aim -Custom AR with Custom origin -Use KAMT's AR model and ask someone to do somethingwith that (I do not own any working 3ds Max apps) If you have any donations or suggestions, that would be good too. I want your input, so please tell me what you think.

So when you see, you are all like "Did bungie make that?" Perfect animations, model, textures, origins. All of it. Something that seems like a real weapon. All of Halo's sounds, sound fake. Something that when you fire, it feels like you are actually in combat.

The tag of the AR has very good accuracy, but it's power needs to be toned down (because the accuracy greatly makes it awesome.) If anyone has some good skins that they want used, tell me ASAP. I am in support of this idea :) Lol, but could you get a more complimentary texture for the AR's GL? It doesn't look so hot in-game and clashes with the rest of the gun in my opinion. I'm still seeing if I should use it, especially seeing as how it is a direct donation to the community. Destroyer, if you have some good textures, send me a pic of them in-game on an AR.
