For any true map making experts out there:

Open Coldsnap.scenario in Guerilla, then export the file as some other name such as Coldsnap_test.

Now close the scenario file, and select import and try importing it back into Guerilla.

Why won't it import this file? It will work on other files such as the tutorial.scenario, and even extinction. Open the exported Coldsnap_test.txt file and see what is wrong with the text fields that keeps it from being imported properly.

For what reason are you exporting it for?

If you are trying to find all the red fields that indicate the tag it is trying to locate isn't found then you can do that with the regular scenario file. You just look for red fields in Guerilla.

I am attempting to do what this poster suggested here:

http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=22139

Maybe I am missing a step or something...

Exporting and importing a scenario file into a .txt file works with the levels\test\tutorial.scenario file, however when I try it on the tutwithfighting.scenario file that has AI included, during the export phase Guerilla crashes, and will not import the txt file and throws the following error message:

expected field maneuver to squad but got field
couldn't import tag

The purpose for this is to add AI to the original Coldsnap, and keep the original scripts intact. If you open it in Sapien, add the AI, then save the file, you lose the original scripts. With Guerilla, they appear to stay intact.

For some reason it doesn't like AI...I tried changing the maneuver to squad field from None to some squad name, but it still crashes during file export. Any clue as to what needs to be fixed???
