I finished my police car model, and boy does it look nice! I would post pics, but I use GMax, which does not support the rendering function. So I'll post PrintScreen pics.

Now, how would I make the sirens?

The sides are to boxy, chamfer the edges.

And what do you mean add a siren?

Like the effect. So that when you hit the crouch button, the siren will start, and when you let go, it stops.

I've never chamfered in my life. Anyone wanna tell me how to do it?

You have to compile a siren sound. Then in the tags, have a function be attached to any of the letter functions. Then in attachments, load in a sound looping with the siren.

Okay. But how do I make it so that CTRL triggers the siren?

Trust me. I made this on my own. I created a detached steering wheel. And okay, thx!

He pointed out that it looked similar to the one he made.

Speaking of sirens, i have a REAL nice Air Raid type Siren. i love the sound of those. I also have several alarm bell type sounds.

The air raid siren doesn't repeat, but i can make a fairly nicely repeating one, though i don't have that one i .SOUND, only .wav or .MP3

As for a car siren, though. It looks like an American police car. Do you want an American siren or a European one? There is a HUGE difference, though the Ford design and American Light Bar would point... need i say more?

Okay.

Watching cops last night, i realized there is a difference between sirens in the United states.

Would a California siren be okay? The car does not look californian due to the exact design of the car, and the light bar is not as sectioned, as well as lacking Alley Lights.

You also might try a California Highway Patrol formation, which i have occasioally seen. It is a number of single lights arranged in a "delta" arrow formation, about 9 lights. These, however, are standard rotating lights, i believe, and lack the oarnge bar and alley lights.

You also might try a classic undercover cruiser of one type or another.

EDIT:

I found a few.

I reccomend High Wail. If you get it to repeat nicely.

I personally am a big fan of the Tornado Alert Siren 1. I have a thing for those types of sirens, and they also make good for things of the like... Citadel Breakins. Which i have a map concept called Citadel. If this played every so foten, it would really add to the effect of the citadel. Its supposed to be in a courtyard, part of a MASSIVE complex branching underground and spreading across square miles. The idea is sort of taken from Red Faction 2, with Sopot's Citadel. Because of this, i can't decide between a Tan type color scheme like RF2, or a Concrete (Polycrete) Grey type color scheme, looking more like an Earth City.

Air Horn Burst is like seen on fire trucks. But i know some police cars are outfitted with this.

Piercer sound is also outfitted on some Police Cars, like Air Horns, though thay are more commonly found on Ambulances.

Hope this helped. If its not what you are looking for, i can always find more, though.
