AI I'm pretty sure cannot be done at the moment, and to modify the maps I would have to say you'd need to ripp the models from somewhere. Halo 2 isn't very friendly to modders is only a level editor not a game editor.

Well, if you use something other than H2EK (Xbox modding tools may work) then you could have H2V maps with AI.

... Why would bungie try to prevent us from modding the game when they know we'll find some way around their locked files if we get crazy enough about it.. I mean.. They wouldn't loose anything by letting us just modify it. I've tried some xbox tools, but they wouldn't open the maps :(

Ya, If they did it like Halo PC and had no rankings and servers hosted by clients H2V wouldn't need Windows Life thus enabling it to run on Windows XP.

Microsot has taken the same approach to PC gaming as it does with Xbox gaming assuming the two approaches will be just as sucessfull. However PC gamers have much different expectations than Console gamers. For example: console gamers do not expect map editors whereas PC gamers do. Edited by Dennis on Nov 7, 2008 at 04:00 PM
