Ah, stop lying. I've seen so many people threaten others with "scripts that can ban people". Banning by script is of course possible, but it's horribly insecure.

The only command for banning is "sv_ban", and it only bans either by name or by the current player number. Since the current player number can't be determined unless you can see the "sv_players" list, which you can't in a script, then you have to ban by name. For all you know, "daniel117"'s Halo name might not even be "daniel117" in the first place, and second, he can easily change his name whenever he plays the map to avoid being banned.

Third, if some unlucky guy with the name "daniel117" joins, he'll get instantly banned for no reason every time he joins a game playing that map.

This banning script is the equivalent of trying to shoot someone in the head with a blindfold on.

Prove me wrong if there's a method that I don't know, but from what I know it's just so insecure that it's useless.

Could you? I've been trying to figure out how people are so confident to say they can ban people from maps. I always thought it was a joke because this is the only way I could think of. Guess not.

Have you even read this page? I dont need your ip I got what I need from your posts and a certain website. unless you load the map with map_name you wont be able to play. seriously its like talking to a toaster.

when you ban someone their 25 digit ip number is added to the ban script you cant ban someone with their computer ip and have u even banned someone from a map and they tried it out and it said that that they where banned?
