As some of you may or may not know, I'm a big fan of the Halo books and the story outside of the games in general. In my opinion the whole story is more interesting than the game itself. My idea is to make maps (or a single map) based off of various settings of the Halo books. For example: The place where the Spartan II soldiers were trained in Fall of Reach. I don't remember the name off the top of my head, but it would include the quarters for the spartans, an auditorium, and various place for training to take place. Another location that interests me is the meeting place of the marines and the brutes for a parley in Contact Harvest. Per usual I would like to mention that I am not asking anyone to make these ideas into maps, I would simply like to check with the community to see what you all think of the idea, and possibly give you ideas. If the response is positive, I may begin a map on this general idea when I find the time. Thanks for any and all feedback.

Its all great, yes, but the problem is the whole thing, the books dont give alot of detail on such things. So it would be harder to model

I actually like that fact. It allows one to put in plenty of their own creativity while blending it with given information. That's how the books were made is it not?

I'm going to see if I can help them out, but unfortunately Ghost of Onyx is one the books I haven't read yet. Still, I'll see what I can do.
