how do i edit sp maps for example a10 i've been trying to get it to work with all the stuff it already has but when i start the map with typeing in on console (mapname a10) & it doesn't start it like how a sp map would usually work. please can somebody help me out a bit

Ok, I'm not exactly understanding what you mean. Are you just recompiling a10 with all it's normal weapons and everything? Why not just download one?
How doesn't it start like a sp map would start? Like, what happens? Does some error message appear? Does nothing simply happen?
