Alright so I have a laptop and I want to run the game on 640x480 but it's waay too small. Is'nt there any patch for making 640x480 a bit bigger with the same, smooth FPS? (if FPS is better when lower)

I have a laptop and run it at 640 X 480, and it works fine, what do you mean by "a bit bigger?" Unless you go to 800 X 600.

I'd rather go without than take what you'd bring.

You either need to run fullscreen or turn on pixel expansion (When pixel expansion is turned on, then the 640x480 display will be stretched to fill the LCD screen.)
My card allows me to have this feature completely fill the screen (distorts view, crappy), maintain aspect ratio (which is what you will want, keeping everything in proportion), or use black borders around ALL sides to keep it small (which is the problem you are having, no?).

How can i turn on this Pixal Expansion? On a full resolution stretching on the full screen it lags a bit more than 1024x768
