could someone make a submarine vehicle.... with an interiior... climbable ladder to get out... opening/closing hatch exe.? but if it was made make the vehicles about as big as a pelican with insides oh and... a gunner seat that looks through the periscope... to shoot missiles... 2 missiles.. loaded per clip, unlimited ammo etc. but make some seats where the biped just stadns and looks... those would be technical seats etc. and maybe have a funtion so when you psee flaslight the lights turn on and like the mythos... the secondayr fire would open the top hatch.... i have no concept art... if i drew some pictures of a sub.... ugh... so i guess it would look like one of those submarines that is shaped like a pill.. the yellow ones...
but DON'T make it yellow....

uh... sure...
i would use it in a map (and give credit to the maker if anyone makes it) same control as the pelican.... but it would be used in an underwater only map... and i would set "vehicle ceiling" in the scenario structure bsp... why wouldn't it work... i see no issues... unless you would like to point out something i over looked

He wants an interior in the submarine, and im positive he wants it to not have water in the vehicle, but there be water on the outside, which isnt possible in the Blam! engine.

ive already had a thought about this, here is what you can do:
make a map that is essentially, 100% water, add whatever ground you want as if it were an ocean floor. make the submarine model as you want it, then give it pelican physics.
TADAAAA you technically have a submarine, well it would be a flying vehicle with the illusion of being underwater

TADAAAA you technically have a submarine, well it would be a flying vehicle with the illusion of being underwater But if you used water fog, it would seem flooded which would be horrible. The only imaginable way to avoid this would be an impossible script that sets a cluster attached to the submarine and that would be set to have no water inside but hey, since clusters are BSP stuff, it's impossible so there needs another way and I think I got one. Make the water on the level part of the submarine itself. Prolly laggy and buggy over MP but it would do the trick. Add a water plane on top, no water fog and make some water part of the submarine itself so that it never gets outside. Must be big enough so that it goes across the map's border. This technically can work ( the same way forerunner holograms can) but will not allow more than one submarine on the map.

i am bumping this because i had to go away for the weekend... so..
i think that thats a good idea...
i could have a fog in the water... that is visible from so many "units"
but if the sub is so long... then if i set the .fog tag in the level so that you start to see underwater fog from so many units... and i make sure the subs length is shorter that said units... then
i think it might work...
so if you start to see fog at this distance
|-----------| and the sub is this long |-------| then wouldn't that work?
oh and...
i suck at modeling... but i could probably tag this "sub" if someone could model it...
i'd give credit of course....

^ That's actually a smart idea, but it's more than just the fog that would cause issues. It's the ambient sound too. There's no way to cut off the underwater sound just in the submarine.
Not only that, but projectiles behave differently underwater.
But, now that I think about it . . . those are the only issues with this submarine idea, and there are solutions for each.
The projectiles' underwater settings can be set to the same setting as when in the air in the projectile tag, so that solves that.
The underwater fog, as kai said, can be set to start at a distance barely longer than the submarine's length, which wouldn't take away from the underwater fog effect too badly.
And, as for the ambient sound, it's usually very quiet and is actually still appropriate in some ways for being in a submarine. So the solution to that could be to add a looping sound attachment to the submarine's vehicle tag with the muffled sound of a submarine's engine, but make it louder than the water sound so that the water sound is barely audible as a background sound.
That would solve most problems with this.

the problem is not the projectiles, those can easily be modified. also the other problem is the water inside the sub. it will fux up the mayonaise and ranch and tomatoes and olive oil D:

When you make the sub make sure u put more than one seat in it. And every seat does some thing like multi gunner seats.

u cant have multi gunners. halo only allows 1 gunner and driver per vehicle. thats why the pelicans in rpg 4-4, coldsnap, hugeass lag. unless u create a attach and detach script like the pelican pickup script

Get a Banshee. Make a deep water map. Drive the banshee under water. You have yourself a submarine.
