I recently modded halo PC version (not CE) so that I can play as any biped in the game. It is very cool but when ever I try to run a third person mod view program an error message come up saying "gathering exception data" and halo crashes
Any suggestions? |

Lucky you, a brand new 1.08 thirdperson/FOV mod was made (you must run as admin for it to work)

It still wont work for me
1. Enable 3rd person as soon as game starts. 2. Choose campaign or multiplayer, keep 3rd person, NO FOV enhancement until the level loads. 3. You can then start up FOV enhancement, or keep third person on. Repeat for switching between campaign, multilayer, and multilayer matches. When the game starts I press the "Page up" button like it says, then I start my campaign and ill still be in first person even though the program is saying that I am in 3rd person I am very sorry for sounding like such a noob but I can't get this dam thing to work |

I said that was for bitterbanana's...the newer one is made by limited and skyline, and works normally like it should, on CUSTOM EDITION ONLY.
The extra instructions were for retail edition, which has to use the older one. And limited said in his post on modacity that the halomaps.org link is coming soon. Edited by madkiller92 on Aug 22, 2008 at 10:34 PM |

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!
O.K. so, anyone who wants to play the halo PC campaign in 3rd person this is what you need to do... You need to have the Halo: patch11.01.04 and once you have that you can run a 3rd person mod. I am guessing you have a cracked version... Anyways Please update your game to 1.07 then visit here: http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11412 That will solve all your problems. Use apps for 1.07 and play on 1.08 servers. That is the real solution. |
