i posted a thread days ago but no one answered yet. idk how to fix this problem. it is for a biped i made. i went to put it into sapien to check it but i got this error.
EXCEPTION halt in \halopc\haloce\source\tag_files\tag_groups.c,#3157: #8 is not a valid model_shader_reference_block index in [#0,#8)
idk which shader it is i checked them all a few times and cant tell which 1 it is.

i did check the all and they all look fine... how do i tell if it is corrupt?

ok so go to the .gbxmodel for what you are trying to open... at the bottom there should be shaders... look at the 8th shader (#8) and something is wrong with that shader.... i think because it says "is not a valid model_shader_reference_block" so it might not be reffering to the right tag.... or any tag at all

that didnt work Destroyer i still got the same error...
ok. i got the shader error fixed. now i have a new problem... the mesh is messed up!!! Edited by Nebulon on Aug 25, 2008 at 06:24 AM
