how do i turn a obj file into a 3ds file
i know 3ds can import obj but i can do anything with them

You should use the GBX Model importer. Bluestreak.

i have blue streak but the files are in a obj format and they dont exist ingame so there is no gbx model

Import the .obj file useing file>import. From there once it's in max, you can edit it, then exporting useing bluestreak to a jms file. The tool can turn that into whatever you want. Once it's in max, you can do anything you want with it.
