I see Dennis posting a lot about the checksum of a map, and I was wondering something...

I opened a map in notepad and noticed at the top it says this

daeha >wc zo_spirit_temple 01.00.00.0609

I am wondering if thats the checksum.

Don't flame if it isn't, I was just posting my observations.

No it isn't, I opened the map in notepad so it shouldn't have an Ip and server name.

A checksum is what Halo CE uses when it looks for maps, if your checksum is different then the actual map name, Halo CE will exception.
