i assume everyone knows the bloodgulch map - and the cave where some weapons are, and the small rock inside the cave. it's about the same size as the rocks that appear around the base. since the last webupdate, this rock is now black and double the size !!!!. True, go and see for yourself. anyone have any insights as to what caused this? I have looked in 3 games, and it is the same for all

It doesn't do that for me maybe it is ur video card like if its a crappy one then things dont look like what they really are.

yes, they are on rotational change i have just found out from another source also, odd that that one has slipped under the radar for so long

i have only ever seen one version of that rock, i didn't even know it changed slightly.

shut the hell up. you probly have no life living at ur moms house playing on computer all day.

PS do u guys have any proof of the rock like a screen shot or a vid.

I think i have noticed these rock changes before, too.

thanks for answering my query. i am glad the answer was simple after all. i was beginning to have conspiracy theories abound in my head about the rock actually being an egg that was going to hatch out some alien and i would find some masterchief on the floor with something wrapped around his face. whew. also happy to see programmers taking time out from their usual mind numbing developers pursuits and get into a bit of R+R with the numerous non topic specific replies. Quality of communication seems to be the common denominator, so worthwhile.

I never noticed the rock in any cave on blood gulch change...

But then again, I hardly go in there. All there is... is a flamethrower and powerup. Both of which I rarely use, though I tend to go in there when I either ambush the other team or I find some stupid camper who doesn't know how to move and shoot at the same time.

Do rock permutations sync. I had to get DSali to make the rocks in Seclusion not perms because he said they don't. So do they sync?

I ve never seen the one by the mid map probably nearest the rl change, I could get inside everytime I tried.
