When I open it up, all I see is the sky, and when I look around I can see the out line of a box that moves when i look around.

Could it be my lightmaps?

maybe.....check your shaders and try running lightmaps in tool (if you are running em in sapien)

also check if the map has any problems or anything in 3ds max / gmax

But when I tried to make my lightmaps in tool, it wouldn't complete it. How long do I have to wait?

Becuase I have tried using lightmaps from other leves :/

So right. I type in:

tool lightmaps levels\arena\arena arena 0 0.9

And it says some stuff, then:

start levels\arena arena arena

And stays forever. It doesn't appear to do anything. Do i just have to wait?

Just wait. Tool can be slow and frustrating. Do something else while it is compiling the lightmaps, don't just sit there.

In 3ds max, the box is 300 x 300 x 300.

Pretty basic and easy. Just a start to mapping for me.

if not try replacing the 9 with a 1 and the 1 with a 9 OR 0.1 first and then 0.09
