I got 3ds max, opened my gbxmodel, added two markers, linked the model to them, exported with a script, it said Warning no geometry to export. ??
Anyway, it still let me save it as a JMS.
Now, how do i compile it into a gbx model?
I searched for a tutorial, but..

You did it wrong. the model stays linked to frame gun, along with the markers.
you compile using tool. 'tool model weapons\blah\fp' or whatever it is.

Er...what?
What would frame gun be?
And it is a vehicle.
I am editing a phantom.
I added two secondary triggers. Then linked them to the model.

Markers link to frame. Nodes link to model.
Re-open the project in MAX, and create a box anywhere in the scene named "frame". Then link the vehicle model to the frame, and repeat for the markers. Remember: Markers must have a name that starts with '#'. For example, #primary trigger.

Ah, thank you!
Make a box. Link the model. Link the markers.
Do I have to do it with every marker, or just the new markers i added?

Best to do it with all.
Make gbxmodel, tool model vehicles\phantom
if you do have the jms in data\vehicles\phantom\models
