my friend, mythril, we always play halo servers together. also i no his rcon becaus when he goes to dinner or lunch or anthing where hes afk he basically makes me host. so i can kick laggers hackers and every1 that i wanna kick... but when i try cheat_teleport_to_camera it teles him not me and i no why just a lil hard to explain. we recentlly figgured out a command where he can tele me by myself but only to a flag or vehicle spawn point i think. but when i try do that command it doesnt work it doesnt to anything. also when i try to activate bottomless clip, deathless players they dont work. i do do rcon (password) (command) whenever im doing a cheat but only some seem to work.

if anyone nows why i can only do so much and not be abil to do everything please help me out.

probably need to enable devmode... download all dev and then open up the program when you are in the server AND have the server host open it up also. then click page up and type the command in again. let me know if that owrks.

cheat teleport to camera only works for host, on dedi i believe it only teleports the 'host' vertically; it only REALLY works when ur the actual host and not a dedi

As for proper rcon useage, im not your guy

oh yer forgot to say i always use devmode cus i activate it to use console to kick ppl and do sv command


yeh sometimes we both get in a car and i do cheat_teleport_to_camera and then we would place cam and i wouuld tele us there. not straight teleing me bus cus im in the car with him it teles us both. also when i wanna annoy him i spam it and he gets.... yeh

ON TOPIC: So rcon only gives the client control of the sv commands?

not all sv commands just some.

yeh i was asking people when u do rcon (password) object_teleport (unit (list_get (players) #) "flagname" it teleports me but when i do it nothing happens it doesnent even come up in grey writing saying "command failed" or anything like that.

anyone help???

Also, on my screen, as the host, if someone tries to use rcon, with say the wrong pass, then it would say something about how client # is attempting to use it, bad password. But nothing appears. D=

no thats not true i can get to every sv command

hmm maybe I justtype mine wrong then...

did u do rcon (password) sv_(command)

Example: rcon "bluepig" sv_players

rcon "bluepig" sv_ban 2

That worked but this one didn't

rcon "bluepid" sv_name "Blah Blah"

It didn't change the server name.

sv_name... i dont think that is a command and sometimes its not just that sometimes theres alot more to do then just type name

sv_name is used to set the name of a server, mostly used for dedi servers
