Hi! I'm making a vehicle and I am just starting on the front windshield and I don't know how to make it so it's see-through, I'm basicaly asking, do window's have to have an opening to see-through it in halo or can it be a solid object that's not see through only in 3ds max like let's say you have box #1 that is open on both sides so you can see straight through it, and you have box #2 that is closed on both sides so you can't see straight through, could you put glass or a bitmap or something so you can see through box #2 in halo? (I'm talking about in 3ds max, if it has to open or not)
Sorry if I didn't explain good enough.

you use textures with less opacity. I cant really go into detail, but you do have an object for the windshield.

Ok, Thanks Headhunter09, but 1 more question.
does it have to be planar or can it have a little thickness to it? Like do I have to make it out of a plane or can I make it out of a box?

if it will be used from both sides it has to have thickness, but for stuff like the pelican (the one in the campaign, that is) that will only be seen through from one direction it can be planar

Or you could simply copy the plane, change it to an editable mesh and flip its side so you it seems that you can see the same plane on both sides, when it is in fact two seperate planes facing opposite directions.
