A sniper.

Will this idea below work?

I get a graity gun weapon.
I use a beam rifle projectile instead of the normal.
I edit the beam rifle projectile to make it pink, like a beam rifle.

I know it is probably more complicated, so if anyone can clarify...

Okay, WHAT?! The gravity gun is supposed to push back units, not be a sniper rifle. I don't know where you got that idea, but it makes little to no sense at all.

NEVER trust wikipedia. It is open-sourced, editable, and can be manipulated. The gravity gun was never a sniper and there is no reason for it to be now. Even so, we have the Beamer now. Why would you add a Beamer projectile to the Gravity Gun anyways? Just to make it a different looking Beamer? I advise that you make your OWN projectile, plus it has been remade many times over.

1)It is HALOpedia, lot more trustworthy, because the people who are on it are not idiots.
2)How do you know it was not a sniper?
3)I have no idea how to make a projectile.
4)I don't care how many times something has been remade, I do things because I enjoy them.

1.) It's on the Internet. People can join it. People can edit it. Stuff gets screwed up on occasions.

2.) Alright, never was %100 sure on it being a sniper, but it's design its hardly agreeable.

3.) Well, it's best you find out how or make cool effects for another projectile.

4.) I am glad to here that. Just giving my opinion. Hey, if animated and tagged right, it could be a pretty good weapon.

The one on Zanzibar was what it should be. Nothing really needs to be done.

You know, it would add just one more weapon to CE, and even one more is more variety.
