You guys have any maps about to be released other than midship?

ive got an idea for this team make a halo 2 to hce campaign mod id really like that. im sure lots of other people would like it too.

And I'm sure that is just a plain stupid idea because it will take forever to fix the errors and get everything ingame.

please explain why there would be so many errors and if they cant be fixed why not get people like dennis to help?

Hey HDoan. try to be nice to noobs. Remember the rules set forth by ban happy dennis.

The maps don't come out perfectly, plus the fact that halo 2 you can ignore almost all errors so bungie sort of went lazy on attaching objects properly. Plus you have to texture the map and then once its ingame you have to get all the tags from the map, make it right and populate it, then you have to script the whole thing. One level would take months, maybe half a year.

doan if you can do it your better then CMT.that's what you should follow as a motto.

i dont think you understand how much work would go into that. it wouldnt even work properly because alot of the h2 maps are suited for h2 physics and player settings, all of which are very different than halo 1 and some of which cannot be recreated in halo 1

Complete with shaders, permutations going from the heads, to even the packs on the thighs and arms.

It does look funky. Almost like it's a photochop... :/ maybe playing with the textures a bit more would help it fit in with the bg better

The textures look very rough...

The general structures look good on the bipeds, but the eyes are completely screwed up. Care to share why?

Because zteam rigs all of thier crap and not make everything from scratch like they should

Way to assume... H2MT rips aswell.

They're actually a bit of both. They use Ripped and Custom content, like animations, and they even put the animations they customized back into the Xbox to see if they work good. That's genius in my opinion.

honestly, who cares if they rip as long as it plays good and looks sexy.
