any one know how to reduce poly count in 3ds max,
and dose the nodes and markers have to be a 224 polygon sphere?
and whats the poly limit for halo and how many materials and texture can one vehical have?

Nodes and markers DO NOT contribute to the total tri/poly count. Don't worry about those.

ok thx, so whats the total poly count allowed excluding nodes and markers and how many materials are allowed?

dont even look at the polygon count. count triangles. those are what matter, not polygons. and materials, more than you would ever need

thankx dounut. i hope to get this in to gbx format soon, just need to attach some parts and place all the nodes and markers

heres what ive gotten done so far
