Lazybone is a team that is currently creating Halo maps that take the Halo game and create maps that follow the theme and design. We currently are working on two maps. The one map currently called Nexus, a map that puts design and art together to make one awesome piece of work. The gameplay is based off of Chiron TL34 with rooms and teleporters. We added a unique twist to it this time around. We took our design that Nexus Halo created and every room has a unique environment in it.

In that picture you see we added a Blood Gulch environment.

The reason I wanted to bring us up to the community is to find new members that have the same interest in making Halo maps and to keep the legacy of Halo's style. The main focus that I try to keep for the team is making our maps look like they belong in Halo 1. If you check out our team site,
http://ilduceprimo.webs.com/index.htm (We currently are using a free provider but look into getting our own domain.)
and go to the Inside Lazybone page of the site, you will see that we have Multiplayer Designers who work specifically on gameplay. People talk about gameplay and what makes good gameplay, well in our maps that is the overall goal, to create maps that you could play and come back to in a few years and still want to play it.

Now that you know what we are about and want to join us in making awesome content for Halo, go to the Employment page on our site.

If you have any comments or questions you can contact me at my email:

or you could PM me here.

You have one screenshot of a map that doesn't interest me.

And you took most of the employment text from bungie.net's "Join Bungie" page. I recognize every bit of that page.

Having people make a resume tells me that they have the work ethic I want. It also tells me about the person. When you choose not to do a resume, that helps me because it eliminates people who don't fit for this particular job.

I'd join, but like posts above me say, it's a bit too formal. A better option would be to have them send you an e-mail with pictures of their work and a brief example of teams they've been on or things they've done for teams. Right now it sounds like you're going to be paying people.

ChacolateNugget, that is a resume. A resume can be really anything. You could send in something and not follow that template. What I have there are tips that will strengthen your chance of getting in. You could just send a few pictures of your work with a small description but just hope that you are skilled. If you are not so great but want to learn, well then you can send in a resume because if I see that you want to learn and have a passion then I will most likly accept you.

Edit: When did all this "too formal" become bad? Damn some of you are picky.

Does "population of maps and compiling maps" apply to any of you guys? I might join, but only if you accept someone who doesn't model.

I'll join. I love working in the Halo environment. Although I may need to get back into mapping since I haven't touched that in quite a while.lol. However, I can populate maps and other Halo stuff that needs to be done well int he mean time. I always try to keep my mod and map stuff Halo-related anyways.

Email is going to be pretty important for us when contacting people. If you cant get in contact with someone via IM program or a PM, then we're going to send emails to them. We all know to check our emails as often as possible, even if we don't have time to get on an IM or halomaps. So its pretty important =)

We will be puting Classic weapons into this and all of our maps we release. There isn't really a average size of each room. They are big but not too big. Each room is reletivley the same size just different shape. The middle room [or hub] is a little bit smaller than wizard.

I'm sure our multiplayer designers will do a fine job with the weapon spawns.

eh i'd join but I have no skill in using HEK or modeling really..... i'm shure you have modelers anyway. Other than testing and giving ideas theres nothing for me to do so I guess i'm out.

But I like the concept for that map, looks nice and since I love Chrion i'm probably going to love this.... and it might actually get me back into playing CE or atleast play it once a week or so. Hope it come out well.

More map teams should have a site set-up like that. It looks really good, and the blog updates are a great way to inform us. Thank you for doing it in such a great way. I can;t wait to get the map :P
