First of all, does Corel Paintshop Pro even have the RGB channel feature? Edited by Advancebo on May 19, 2008 at 04:42 PM

Well, then you will need the exact copy of the hud_msg_icons.tif from the bitmap tag. Same order and stuff. Then get a side view of the gun u want. Make a new layer on hud msg icons, and paste the gun into the layer. Then get a white outline, and outline the guns details and stuff with a 1 or 2 pixel size brush or pencil. Then shade in the rest of it with the same color as the other ones. Then delete the layer with the gun picture on it. And under it should be the stuff u drew. so then copy all of the black squares that have the pickup icons (make sure u dont copy any blue) then in the channels, make a new channel, and name it Alpha 1. Then paste it in to the alpha channel. Another method is to duplicate the Blue Channel, and name it Alpha 1, then fill in all of the white thats not part of the pickup icons (the white areas around the black squares, not the actual icon) with black. Then go to Save As, or Export as (dont really know) and select .tif in the drop down box. And save it as hud_msg_icons.tif in: data\ui\hud\bitmaps\combined. Then compile it using tool Edited by Advancebo on May 19, 2008 at 04:56 PM
