There are some really cool models out there that I want to open in gmax. But I can't because I can't open max files in gmax! So help!

you cant open .max files in gmax nor has anyone(that i know of)made a plug-in or utility to do so.
you can open 3ds and obj files but you have to download the utilites im pretty sure that both of the files come with one of the bsp model converters.cant remember which one though... i have tried opening .max files heeps of times with gmax so you'll need 3dsmax(if you want to open them) |
