There is a different feel you have when playing Halo3 stuff on CE, like a feeling of pride and success. Not that some people wouldn't understand that....Anyways, snowbound could work in CE, given the right elements.

What I would do to get a fun feel, is make the Halo 3 BSP's with Halo 1 weapons with a little bit of custom content.

I wouldn't blame him... Halo 3 really isn't suited for Halo CE unfortunately.

ok i have kinda gave up....
coz i cant really model as well as i expected.....but i have done a bit... i thought i could finish it soon and when i added the bases i hade all these red triangles everywhere.... but if someone did model it i could do sapien and guerilla stuff but i only need the h3 plasma rifle and h3 plasma pistol....my shotgun is just a normal one but with h3 skins so the only difference is the fp model.... and i already had a xbox360 and halo 3 before i started the map.... just that the xbox was in over seas getting fixed and it took awhile so i thought i could make it for halo ce...coz i really wanted to play halo 3 after 2 months and now it came with 1 month of free xbox live gold!!!!!! so yeah i have kinda gave up |

well i really want to make a halo 3 map and ill try making an easier one before i continue snowbound, what halo 3 map should i do?
or should i continue the other map im trying(not snowbound) and just put halo 3 weapons i might try guardian but maybe in a month or so. ill go get google sketchup please help me with my thread about hobo closing that has nothing to do with the ghost |

ok well i am making another custom map that is still in modeling stage...
just need to put hills and bumps... and personally i dont know how to make map without heightmaps, because all of my tutorials are using heightmaps, so can u post me a link to one that DOESNT use heightmaps in it? ty |

I don't really know of any tutorials, because I never used a tutorial, but you might want to try plane modeling.

It's really not hard to do the exact same thing in GMax. I could probably install it now and do all my stuff in there instead of 3ds Max. You all just wouldn't get purdy renders. :p

yeah my xbox 360 broke aswell thats why i started this thread so i could relive halo 3 but now its back from NSW and it came with 1 month GOLD live for free!!!!!!
