I went to export a map and a message comes up that reads;

[WARNING] mountainbase has non-uniform node scale, x-axis value exported

*mountainbase is the name of the map object

I haven't done anything different and it's size fits the requirements, as far as units work. Anyone know what this means and how I can fix it?

Correct except one thing. You can scale a selected object but you must scale the whole object, not just in the X Y or Z. Solution isn't pretty, you must recreate the object. Sorry.

Well stuff happens, just out of curiosity why is it that objects cannot be scaled on a singular plane? Like why does it effect the model before it's exported?
