Hello everyone , i have been a lurker around here more recently due to my University course being a ***** and taking up all my time with Unreal Engine work :/ , after finishing the majority of the work and looking foward to a great 2 months or so off till the next year starts (I have not finished yet , will be finishing soon , around april) , i am looking to get back into CE modding no matter how apparently dead people may think it is.
At the moment , i am trying to attempt to breath life back into the dead horse that is the Sonic mod , because its not use leaving it around to gather dust , when its about 40% complete , so i began to work on level designs today for the first level , my problem being , i have decided that i am gonna try keeping to the same rail style gameplay that the 3d games have , but in Halo this is hard to do for certain things , so i was wondering if anyone had any information on how to clip or block certain areas or huge parts of the level with invisible walls to stop people venturing beyond where i want them to be able to go.
If anyone could get information on how to create invisible walls (clipping) for me , then that would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance
-Sonic

* Large collideable property. This flag or shader symbol when applied to a material that is applied to a face or surface sets the surface up to not be rendered and only have collision.
_______________________________________ Its done with a shader symbol. make a plane where you want the boundary to be. then make a material and put a * in the material name. apply it to the plane.
it should make the plane only have collision and not be rendered.
