Well I have searched the topics for an answer to my problem and I found none so I'm making another topic as my old one is lost.

Problem: HEK+ on loading displays an exception error or something like that and gives me a hex address then tells me to close the program.
I will have to reinstall HEK+ to get more detailed information on what the actual error said though.

And yes I have .NET 2.0 and everything else needed.

What map are you trying to work with. Also, make sure you have the latest version of HEK+.

And If you have Vista Premium (or above) sometimes when you click on one of the drop down menus it will freeze up (this happened to me) You can fix this by going into the Properties of the HEK+ .exe The Click the Compatibility Tab, then, check the box that says "Disable Visual Themes" and "Disable Desktop composition". The Latter is all that is needed, but the old windows theme is less buggy than the Vista Basic Theme.

Hope this helped :D
