really? hmm... i always thought reach would be like mars, since it is a naval base, barren, desert, barely enough atmosphere to support L.I.F.E.

In the first cutscene of halo 2 there is a short flashback of the assault on reach, and only a few glassed spots appear on the planet. It does look earthy but with much more land. It's a really green planet, and the oceans almost blend right in with the grass.

ahh... thanks for that. So it has more land then earth? amazing... must be a rare find of a planet of that type. Your more likely to find alot more water and less land in our universe...
Only a few glassed spots? hmm... must be Amazon type rainforests everywhere, and grasslands. hmm... i have to look up what system its in. |

If you read the book, fall of reach it probably has some descriptions. i read a little bit of it but havent finished it but i dont really remember anything about how the planet looked.

if you read the book fall of reach it does have descriptions. it's mostly mountains and forests.
