Okay long story short been trying for ± 9 months to model, best thing I can come up with so far is this thing.... http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i84/techkman/naamloos-1.jpg
and Before you say search is your friend I want to ask a question namely wich of them tutoriols teaches more then the basic stuff but not the realy complex stuff (like how to make a box look nice without going trough a million and 1 tutorials to understand how to press the bevel/extrude whatever button)
in english wich tut's does Halomaps recommend?

I'd rather go without than take what you'd bring.

Yet another low poly model tutorial.
http://www.escalight.com/tutorials/3dsmax-tutorials/modeling-a-dolphin-part-1.html

You start out with one plane, and make a nice dolphin. Sure it's not a gun, but you can use the same concepts.
