to discuss overated maps and why they are so overated

Tiamat maps, first example of noob weapons, scripting, and terrible gameplay.

Exsactly my point.How do you consider flying around in a plane for 20 minutes trying to find somebody, fun and when you finaly find them the dog fights suck

I think CMT maps are over-rated.

i also think h2 zanzibar was way overated

Snow grove is kinda good.

im not saying its not good hell its one of the best ctf maps i ever played im just sayin its been a good yer now and people should start playing some new maps

Best CTF map? No. Snow_Grove is a better CTF map...so is Blood Gulch, you know why? BECAUSE THEY'RE BALANCED.

Not really. Red base has the advantage.

I say the most overrated map has to be , snowgrove and coldsnap. I postivley hate snowgrove it used to be fun, its just getting annyoing now.

The only thing bad about it is it's way to easy to camp the teleporter.

Hugeass, you can spell it out....But really, why does it have over 100,000 downloads though?

Half come from new computers probably. The other half is noobs dowloading it 30 times because they can't put it in their maps folder.

The Mods of RPG_Beta Maps. The originals are good. The mods of them are usually just plain fail with a side order of crap.

H2 Zanzibar is amazing for it's time. That's why so many people like it.

And I must agree, I get bored in Snowgrove servers. It amazes me how much time people have spent playing that map.

If you get bored on the map why'd you make it? You have amazing modelers, why not make a completely CMT map?

Errr. We did make that map. It was made from scratch by a CMT member. It's a fun map, I just don't get how people can have played it this long. Or maybe it's just that I have SPv2 and no longer find the older mod apealing.

I know a member made it, but it wasn't a CMT map first.

So I guess NMC isn't a H2CE map then either.

Cmt maps are not overated. It's just that people only play that map. The two common huge maps overated. I think chronopolis is overated.

Coldsnap, Hugeass, Extinction, Chronopolis and Yoyorast to me are overrated. Coldsnap was fun the first 5 minutes along with Hugeass and Extinction but it just got old after-a-while. Chronopolis there are too many RPG servers and Yoyorast I just never could get into.

You mean onto, you fell a lot didn't you? That was the problem I saw with that map, next to camping....

Chaos gulch is way overrated.

No, usually when someone says "into it" they mean can't seem to like it. They can't force themselves into playing it as much as other people.

I know, but still, it could also have been he fell off a lot, which is what causes me to hate the map.

The only reason I dont like yoyorast is that on the race mode, I almost always spawn on the cliff, so all I can do is kill myself and hope to actually get where the hogs spawn and the track starts...

i think the cmt sp maps are overated. if they are so good at making maps then why dont they just make their own sp map? tiamat maps are so popular because they were made such a long time ago when nobody had played halo in a jet before and he has made some of biggest maps out there.

takes forever to dl all them cmt campaign maps... how many gigs is all that anyways?
